University of Kansas, Lawrence, October 20–21, 2018

Depending on the number of participants, the conference intends to cover the cost of lodging for all participants for the nights of Friday, October 19, and Saturday, October 20. Most funds will be devoted to the support of participants who have no other federal support and participants who are students, post-doctoral scholars, or members of groups that are under-represented in the mathematical sciences. Lodging support will not be in the form of reimbursement but rather in the form of direct payment to the hotels we arrange. We encourage graduate students to share a room. You can request on the registration form who you want your roommate to be.

The organizers will make the hotel reservation and room assignments and provide the information to the hotels. If you are using your own funding, let us know on the registration form. If you have your own funding and want to use the conference hotel, we will still need to book your hotel room in order to get the reduced rate. If you are using your own funds and prefer to book your own hotel, please let us know.

Participants need to complete the registration form by September 28 (sooner is better). The organizers will notify the participants by October 1 of their hotel and room assignment.
